Dallas, Texas – (October, 2011) – An impressive collection by artist legend, Peter Max’s exquisite paintings will be on exhibition and available for acquisition at Wisby -Smith Fine Art at the Crescent in Dallas and Fort Worth’s exquisite Milan Gallery. This dual location exhibition will present Max’s newest works, and coincides with the announcement that the Artist has been chosen by Norwegian Cruise Lines to paint the hull of its luxury cruise liner Breakaway in the iconic “Peter Max” style. This 2011 honor is yet another compliment to the legend that is Peter Max, the artist who painted a Continental Boeing 777 Jumbo Jet, a 600 foot stage for Woodstock Music Festival, and a giant mural for the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Wisby-Smith Fine Art boasts 4000 square feet of luxury space, and is Dallas’ premier destination for Fine Art acquisition. The gallery welcomes all Peter Max enthusiasts and collectors, as exhibit previews begin Saturday, November 12th, 2011 and the exhibit extends through Saturday afternoon , November 19th. Due to overwhelming demand, there will be a special Saturday evening premier Artist Appearance at The Milan Gallery in Fort Worth from 7pm-10pm.
Artwork is available for acquisition and all appearances are open to the public, with Meet the Artist receptions in Dallas on Friday November 18th and Saturday afternoon, November 19th. Milan Gallery in Fort Worth shall be the host for the Saturday evening Artist Reception.
